When do I have to order and how does it work?

New menus are posted every Friday. You have from Friday until Wednesday evening at 10 pm EST to place your order. Order your meals, the size and quantity that you require, and then check out. You can pay for your meals securely through PayPal or using a credit card. The delivery date for meal orders for that week is displayed at the top of the Heat & Eat Meal Delivery web page. In addition, a confirmation email stating the date of delivery will sent to you once you place your order. Meals are delivered on Sundays between 3 PM and 7 PM.

What is the difference between regular and large meals?

Regular = 1 Serving: 6 – 8 oz protein & 1.5 – 2 cups vegetables
Large = 2 to 3 Servings: 12 – 16 oz protein & 3 – 4 cups vegetables

How much food do I have to order?

You do not have to sign a contract with us for any length of time and you can order as little as 1 meal at a time. You can also order every week or skip weeks, based on your needs. We want you to try our food and see what works best for you.

Do you charge a delivery fee and when will my meals be delivered?

Your meals will be delivered to your door by a food delivery company. We charge a flat fee of $10 per delivery, whether you order 1 meal or 20 meals. Meals are delivered Sunday afternoons between 3 pm and 7 pm in Thermo Cooler Bags with ice packs, to keep your meals cold.

What happens when I am not at home to receive my meals?

If you are not home to receive your meals, please leave a cooler with ice packs outside your door and we will drop the Thermo Cooler Bag into your cooler. If you forget to set out a cooler, we will leave your food in the Thermo Cooler Bag at your front door. We will retrieve the Thermo Cooler Bag and ice packs from you during the next delivery in order for us to keep costs low.

How do I heat my meals?

Detailed heating instructions will accompany each meal. We use BPA free, microwave-safe containers. All meals are fully cooked – all you need to do is follow the heating instructions for microwave, stove-top or oven.

Can I customize my Heat & Eat meals?

Unfortunately not. All our meals are prepared with the highest quality ingredients available, and our aim is to offer a variety of healthy Heat & Eat meals to our clients. However, if you require meals to be customized we advise that you rather sign up for our Personal Chef Services, which accommodates individualized, palate and diet-specific meal plans.

What happens if I have to cancel an order?

Orders can only be cancelled before the order deadline on Wednesday evening 10pm EST. Please email or phone us to do so.
